Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of the sparkling Lennon.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Z Wide
Does it stamp - No
Name - Lennon
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1199
Coats - 3
Finish - Holographic Glitter
Collection - Enamoured
Colour - Teal
Topcoat - No

Lennon can be described as a deep pacific teal with a shimmering holographic finish 2 coat formula.

What a stunning polish Lennon is, this is hugely sparkly, Lennon has a great formula, no running or pooling and I did three coats for maximum sparkle, I am wearing a peel off basecoat for easy removal and I got myself some full cover fake nails for the two broken nails, I am hoping these protect the nails while they grow out.

I've purchased set B of enamoured and the September Polish of the Month as well, they should be here next Monday. The next to last pic is of my left hand nails after I had to cut them due to another break on my index finger.

The last pic was my manicure for the FB When Colors Collide challenge for green, purple and orange.

Eleanor, what a polish, this reminds me of Faye and Daul with that very strong golden shimmer particle, Eleanor has a fantastic formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one sweet coat, Eleanor also stamps very well and you can see that purple base. I did add matte topcoat to my left hand so I could see the velvet texture.

A Zoya A Day - Frenchy

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of Frenchy.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Z Wide
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Frenchy
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1193
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Enamoured
Colour - Pink/Beige
Topcoat - No

Frenchy can be described as a warm beige pink cream 2 coat formula.

Frenchy is a beautiful light pink with a strong beige undertone, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, Frenchy does stamp, likely better over darker colours.

Please excuse the rather bumpy fix on my middle nail, it holding that nail together its just not the greatest smooth fix ever lol.

I've had to add another column to my Zoya spreadsheet for whether a polish has a Z Wide brush or not, I'm not sure if I'll keep adding a white dot to the caps yet, need to find out if the Z Wide is going to be the default brush.  Also as you can see from my pics Frenchy is a right minx, I think only first pic of my nails is colour accurate.  I did ask Zoya via Instagram if the Z Wide was to be the default and their response was, we cannot confirm or deny this.

Comparison Request

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing some extra comparisons that a reader requested.

So we have Precious compared to Patrice and Wanda.  The other comparison is Jean and Alice.

Pics were taken in natural light and only cropped and watermarked.

First up we have left to right Precious, Patrice and Wanda, no dupes, in fact I'd almost say Precious is a mix of Patrice and Wanda. The swatches all are two coats each.

Next is Jean and Alice, no dupes, Jean is much deeper in tone and they are different finishes.

A Zoya A Day - Wren

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of the stunning Wren.

Available on the website - No
Brush used - Z Wide
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Wren
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1205
Coats - 2
Finish - Holographic
Collection - Polish of the Month
Colour - Purple
Topcoat - No

Wren was extremely popular and has sold out but can be described as a royal purple infused with blue, pink, and silver micro shimmer.

Wren is an absolutely stunning colour, when I put it on, it gave me Berry Good Looking by Cupcake polish vibes, sadly I no longer own my bottle, I sold it some time ago, but Wren has that same deep blue flash and as you can see in the pics, it was freaking my camera out.

Wren already came with the Z Wide brush inside, I guess that Zoya have finally bowed to pressure and its now the default brush, Wren has a fantastic formula, she was almost opaque in one coat, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my manicure, when I wore Wren outside in the sunshine she was mesmerising!

The last pic is of my nails, since Zoya started shipping to the UK again I got the Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and I have been using that on my nails every manicure since April, in June I added in the Barry M Nail Strengthener which I use 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off along with my usual Zoya Anchor basecoat.  The two shiny nails are nails with breaks, the left hand I dont remember how I broke it, the right one was catching a flat of coca cola two weeks ago.  Once they have grown past the free edge I'll file them all back but I am thrilled with the way they are looking now.
