Zoya Comparison Request - Autumn, Channing, Cinnamon and Sipsey

Hi Friends

Today on the blog, another comparison request.

We're comparing some orangey browns, or browny oranges?

Autumn by Zoya can be best described as a varnished copper liquid metal.

Channing by Zoya can be best described as a rusty or coppery red metallic.

Cinnamon by Zoya can be best described as a classic bronze liquid metal, originally designed for Zang Toi NYFW Fall/Winter 2015.

Sipsey can be described as a Red tinted amber infused with micro-shimmer in a 2-coat full coverage formula.

First I laid them out in alphabetic order and you can see the differences.

Autumn has the orange coppery vibe, Channing has more red undertones, Cinnamon is a brown with little gold speckles to give a bronze colour and Sipsey has a red undertone with all those little gold sparkles.

This lay out is from reddest to orange with Cinnamon on the end the brownest.

I then did a stamp test with Channing and Cinnamon the best of the four. Autumn would work over a darker colour I think. Sipsey is all sparkle.

Today o nthe blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of the stunning Terra.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Z Wide
Does it stamp - No
Name - Terra
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1181
Coats - 2
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Daydreaming
Colour - Purple
Topcoat - No

Terra can be described as an amethyst purple with pink undertone. Infused with micro-shimmer in a 2-coat full coverage formula.

This colour is stunning, its probably one of my favourite tones of purple, I decided to put a coat of Zoya Perrie on my thumb and ring finger to see how Terra performed as a topper, I think it turned out great.

Terra has a good formula, no running or pooling and I did one coat over Perrie and two coats its own. I love that this is chameleon like in different lighting, I also show it as one coat over a white and a black.

A Zoya A Day - Sipsey

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of the gorgeous Sipsey

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - No
Name - Sipsey
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1183
Coats - 2
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Daydreaming
Colour - Orange/Red
Topcoat - No

Sipsey can be described as red tinted amber infused with micro-shimmer in a 2-coat full coverage formula.

Sipsey is gorgeous, a deep amber toned orange, not red in my opinion.

I love that the shimmer particles in this are a bright gold, this reminds me of the original Crystal which was a steel blue metallic with that same bright gold fleck, good formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for me swatch, Sipsey doesnt stamp due to needing to be sheer to allow all the sparkle to shine. This isnt a glitter and will not be difficult to remove.

A Zoya A Day - Yardley

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of the lovely Yardley.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - Not really
Name - Yardley
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1184
Coats - 1
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Daydreaming
Colour - Peach/Gold
Topcoat - No

Yardley is described as a peachy champagne gold, infused with micro-shimmer.

What a stunning colour Yardley is, a peachy golden orange, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat, I did do a stamping test but Yardley didnt stamp well.
This does dry down with some brush strokes because of that metallic finish, to avoid that you can sponge on a coat.

Weekend Mani featuring Fancy Gloss Hawaiian Sunset

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my manicure for the weekend.

I used the following:-
Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator 1 coat
Barry M Mani Hero Strengthener 1 coat
Zoya Anchor Base Coat 1 coat
Fancy Gloss Hawaiian Sunset 2 coats
Whats Up Nails Fab Cab (Yellow)
Whats Up Nails Neither Noir (Black)
Virago Varnish Beet Ice (Pink)
Moyra Stamping Plate 106 Picturesque
Barry M Plumpy Top Coat.

I started with my nail prep using one coat each of the Qtica, Barry M Mani Hero and finally the Zoya Anchor, I then painted two coats of Fancy Gloss Hawaiian Sunset a tri-thermal that is brown when cold, a red when warm and a bright yellow when hot, good formula, no running or pooling.

I then stamped grass with the black on my fingers, but yellow on my thumbs, then added some flamingos and birds in pink, herons and butterflies in yellow and topped everything with Barry M Plumpy Topcoat.

A Zoya A Day - Ora

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of the gorgeous Ora.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Ora
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1178
Coats - 1
Finish - Cream
Collection - Toasty
Colour - Purple
Topcoat - No

Ora can be described as a dark, chocolate tinged blackberry in a full coverage cream formula.

Gabi can de described as a dark aubergine cream.

I decided to compare Ora to Gabi as when I did my comparisons they were incredibility close.

Ora has a great formula, no running or pooling and I did one coat for my swatch.

I did my left hand in Ora and my right hand in Gabi, these are very similar indeed, I'd say on the nail Gabi is one maybe two shades lighter than Ora, in the bottle you can see the difference slightly better, in the stamping its Gabi who comes off darker.

I've been using the Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and Barry M Mani Hero Strengthener along with my Zoya Anchor basecoat and I think theyve really helped my nails.  I think theyre looking pretty good from the little broken nubs I had at the start of this year.

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of Elowen, plus comparing it to Dagmar.

Does it stamp - Yes

Colour - Red
Topcoat - No

Elowen can be described as a spicy, rich Cabernet in a full coverage cream formula.

Dagmar can be described as a deep, plum brown with maroon undertones in a full coverage cream formula.

Elowen has a great formula, no running or pooling and I did one coat for my swatches, I also painted Dagmar on my right hand to compare the two. I think there is a slight difference between Elowen and Dagmar with Dagmar being a slightly lighter tone of colour.  My left hand has Elowen and my right had Dagmar, the stamp shows the difference in the tones/

A Zoya A Day - Rae

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my swatch and review of the lovely Rae.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Rae
Year - 2023

Coats - 1
Finish - Cream

Rae can be described as a dusty rose suede, with subtle warm and tan undertones in a full coverage cream formula.

Rae is one of those grandma colours, a dusty, muted pink with a beige undertone, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat, Rae also stamps well. This is almost a mannequin hands colour on me. The last picture is my nude polishes and Crystal is shows beside Eastyn and several other nude shades, you can see its not grey.
