Zoya Muse - Fall 2025 - Bottle and Swatch Stick Comparison

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my bottle and swatch stick comparisons for the first half of the Muse collection.

The polishes are Hebe, Bari, Samara, Winona, Zarin and Velma.

If you're new here I take the photos in front of a window in natural daylight, the new polish is always first left and I do not colour correct, only crop and add my watermark.

So first up we have Hebe, Neveah, Sutton and April, Hebe is close to Neveah but Neveah is discontinued.

Left to right Bari, Brittany, Agnes and Piper, no dupes, Bari is a hair more brown leaning than Britany, Piper is discontinued.

Left to right Samara, Henley, Brianna and Arielle, Samara is very close to Henley and Brianna, Arielle is discontinued.

Left to right Velma, Garbo, Kate and Liz, no dupes, Velma is such an interesting colour its a lovely terracotta, Garbo is close but Garbo is discontinued as is Liz.

Left to right Zarin, Nahla, Cindy and Marie Luisa, no dupes, Zarin is a more rose pink topper.

There we go, the first half, the other half is more my jam, this is the office wear, muted palette.

Capri and Tiggy Comparisons

Hey Friends

I was asked to do a couple more comparisons for Capri and Tuggy.

Left to right Capri, Tiana, Lillian, Eleni and Rebel no dupes, that drop of green in Capri really pops, Capri is also darker than Lillian and Eleni I added Tiana to show the colour of Capri against a light green.

Left to right Tiggy, Leilani and Journey, no dupes, Leilani has a much more golden shimmer and is not as bright a pink, Journey is a red.   Tiggy has a great formula, all swatches are two coats, no topcoat.

Zoya Naturel 6 bottle and swatch stick comparisons

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my colour comparisons for the new Naturel 6 collection from Zoya, these will purely be colour comparisons as this finish is not something Zoya has done a lot of, infact the only other polishes are Opal and Inez.

As always if youre new, I take my photos in natural daylight, I dont colour correct, merely crop and add my watermark.

The new polish is always first left.  The new polishes are

Avalon, Cleo, Dulcie, Nadine, Scotti and Winslet.

First up Scotti compared to April and Sutton, I would say April is the closet colour. Scotti is sheer to allow the flakies to show.

Left to right Scotti and Cleo, you can see Cleo is much brighter and more pink toned than Scotti but the flakies are the same.  Edit This is of course Opal compared to Scotti.

Left to right Avalon, Tweedy and Shelby, Avalon is slightly brighter than Tweedy and Shelby.

Left to right Cleo, Palmer and Shannon, Palmer is very close to the base of Cleo, these will make a great combo, wear one coat of Palmer with Cleo over to boost the opacity, or do accent nails of Cleo with Palmer or Shannon. I wore Cleo over the weekend, pics at the end.

Left ot right Dulcie, Carson and Kinsley, Carson has the closest base colour, either of these paired with Dulcie would make a gorgeous manicure.

Left to right Winslet, Joni and Remington, I would say the closest is Joni for base colour.

Lastly left to right Nadine, Maggie and Hera, this is slightly out of order because I could Not find Maggie, I spent over an hour going through polishes, I finally had to take down each row and go through them that way and finally I found her. I think probably Maggie is the closest to Nadines base colour.

There we go, I got these on Friday along with a Fancy Gloss order so I decided I would wear Cleo and Fancy Gloss Bubblegum Bliss together for the next few days and they paired beautifully, the cold state of Bubblegum Bliss is a similar tone to Cleo, I was warm when I took the photos. You can see the cold state in the bottle shot.

Zoya Beachy Brights 2 Summer 2024 - Swatch Stick and Bottle Comparisons.

Hi Friends

I'm here with my comparisons for the new Summer 2024 collection - Beachy Brights 2, this is a set of 12 polishes including the re-release of last years Beachy Brights that were mini bottles.

Polish names are as follows

Alora, Avani, Bohdi, Brinkley, Cove, Georgie, Loni, Soraya, Taji, Vita and Yohanna. I'm also including Paisley which was May's polish of the month.

If you are new here, I take my photos in natural day light, I dont colour correct, I merely crop the photos and add my watermark, comparisons always have the newest polish as the first left.  Today it was over cast and cloudy which I think helped with the neons not freaking my camera out.

Having swatched all the polishes and done the stamping test, these all had pretty good formula, the glitters were a little sheer on first coat but pretty good in two.

Continued after the banner.

First up we have Taji and Darcy, no dupes, Darcy is a few shades deeper.

Next is Bohdi, Oakley and Paz, no dupes, Bohdi has a a pink undertone compared to Oakley and is much brighter than Paz.

Next, Loni, Zelda, Janie and Candy, this is close between Loni and Zelda, to the naked eye Zelda is slightly dark, Janie and Candy are different tones and both are discontinued.

Next Yohanna, Zelli and Janie, no dupes, Yohanna is brighter than both Zelli and Janie who are both discontinued.

Next Alora and Carmen, this is very close, Alora is slightly lighter in tone than Carmen.

Next Brinkley, Charisma, Soraya and Ali, no dupes, Brinkley is just so different to anything Zoya have done before, I added Soraya to show the tone of Brinkley.

Next Soraya and Banks, no dupes, Soraya is so much brighter than Banks, Banks is discontinued.

Next Paisley, Lena and Delia, no dupes, the undertones on all are different, Pailsey is still available as of writing this on June 3rd 2024.

Next Marisol, Echo and Mateo, no dupes, Marisol is way brighter than Echo and Mateo.

Next Avani, Link and Tilda, no dupes, Avani is super bright, Link has been discontinued.

Next Vita, Malana and Cadence, no dupes, Vita is such a bright pink and doesnt have the blue flash that Malana does, Cadence is a more subdued pink.
Next Georgie, Everly and Venus (2), no dupes, Everly is holo flakies so a smooth finish, Venus is much deeper in tone than Georgie.

Lastly, Cove, Sparrow and Dream, no dupes, Sparrow has a blue flash and is brighter, Dream is much deeper in tone to the others.

Stamping test, these performed pretty well, I mucked up Bohdi and you can see the pink undertone to Alora.

I wore Taji, Avani, Brinkley, Bohdi and Marisol for my manicure, all in two coats, great formula on these.   I picked these up using the May polish of the month code to get free shipping and 25% off the price.  I was a little surprised there was no early bird offer on these so I ordered everything but Marisol who I had already picked up last year.

This is how they originally came to me, I do not like the white caps so I switched them all out to black ones, when I switch out brushes I keep the old skinny brushes and caps.

I really like these, the formula was so much better than the Easy Neons.

Zoya Magical Collection Bottle and Swatch Stick Comparisons

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch stick and bottle comparisons for the Magical collection for Winter 2023/24 from Zoya.

The set consists of 6 polishes and their names are:-

Adara, Bisoux, Cherri, Fairleigh, Inez and Vixen.

As always, my photos are taken in natural lighting, I dont adjust the colour, I only crop and add my watermark, the new polish is always first left.

Continues below the banners.

First up we have Bisoux, Fairleigh, Twinklette and Ginni, no dupes, Bisoux, Fairleigh and Twinklette are a new polish formulation from Zoya, they are super sparkly and dry kind of like a pixie dust. Bisoux is a pale pink, Fairleigh has a lilac undertone, Twinklette is a deeper pink undertone and Ginni is deeper in tone again, Ginni is sadly discontinued.  I just realised my swatch label has an extra e, I've printed out a new label.

Next up was Fairleigh and Stevie, again no dupes, Stevie has a deeper tone of the purple and is a different finish,

Left to right is Inez, Donnie and Sharon, no dupes, Inez is such a bright tone of hot pink, a proper full on pink with those little flakies, both Donnie and Sharon are deeper in tone, with Sharon having slightly more blue than Donnie.

Left to right Cherri, Alix and Racquel, no dupes, Cherri is a deep but brighter red than Alix or Racquel, Cherri also dries matte. Racquel is discontinued.

Left to right Adara, Isa and Jean, no dupes, Adara is the same tone of blue as Isa but she has added flakies while Isa is a shimmer and Jean is a different finish entirely.

Left to right Vixen, Nina and Kalista, no dupes, this one might be tricky to see but Vixen has a more blackened undertone than Nina and Kalista has a red undertone and golden sparkles, sadly both Nina and Kalista are discontinued.

Last but not least the stamping test. You can really see the red undertone to Vixen.

So there you have it, my comparisons for the Magical collection, do you think I missed a (Zoya) comparison? Let me know in the comments and if I have the polish I can do that comparison.

Comparison Request

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing some extra comparisons that a reader requested.

So we have Precious compared to Patrice and Wanda.  The other comparison is Jean and Alice.

Pics were taken in natural light and only cropped and watermarked.

First up we have left to right Precious, Patrice and Wanda, no dupes, in fact I'd almost say Precious is a mix of Patrice and Wanda. The swatches all are two coats each.

Next is Jean and Alice, no dupes, Jean is much deeper in tone and they are different finishes.

A Zoya A Day - Ora

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of the gorgeous Ora.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Ora
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1178
Coats - 1
Finish - Cream
Collection - Toasty
Colour - Purple
Topcoat - No

Ora can be described as a dark, chocolate tinged blackberry in a full coverage cream formula.

Gabi can de described as a dark aubergine cream.

I decided to compare Ora to Gabi as when I did my comparisons they were incredibility close.

Ora has a great formula, no running or pooling and I did one coat for my swatch.

I did my left hand in Ora and my right hand in Gabi, these are very similar indeed, I'd say on the nail Gabi is one maybe two shades lighter than Ora, in the bottle you can see the difference slightly better, in the stamping its Gabi who comes off darker.

I've been using the Qtica Nail Growth Stimulator and Barry M Mani Hero Strengthener along with my Zoya Anchor basecoat and I think theyve really helped my nails.  I think theyre looking pretty good from the little broken nubs I had at the start of this year.
