A Zoya A Day - Paisley

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of the stunning Paisley.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Z Wide
Name - Paisley
Year - 2024
Number - ZP1225
Does it stamp - Yes
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Polish of the Month
Colour - Neon Purple
Topcoat - No

Paisley can be described a pastel neon that packs a punch

This polish is so gorgeous, a really bright vibrant neon, this is one I can see myself wearing a lot over the summer, I keep staring at my nails.  I did stamp with Soraya as well.  Paisley has a good formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats, as this is a neon it does dry to that matte finish.

This is a chameleon colour, the right hand side are the most colour accurate.

This really fits in so well with the Beachy Brights 2 collection, I highly recommend grabbing this one if you havent already.

A Zoya A Day - Candy

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my manicure of Candy who is a Polish Of the Month. I wanted to get this up as soon as possible in case anyone still wanted to grab this with the free shipping offer.

Available on the website - Yes (Only for April)
Brush used - Z Wide
Name - Candy
Year - 2024
Number - ZP1224
Does it stamp - Yes
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Polish Of the Month
Colour - Pink
Topcoat - No

Candy has a story - A white pink candy creme that goes beyond the typical pastel palette. ‘CANDY’ encapsulates the essence of sweetness and vibrance, offering a unique take on indulgence and playfulness with every application. Candy utilizes a hint of neon and traditional pastel pigment to achieve a dynamic pastel shade.

Candy has a good formula, no running or pooling, I did two coats for my manicure, this is a little thick but not hard to work with, Candy also stamps nicely. I have now switched out the cap to a black one.  I dont like the white caps. I also bumped my right thumb.  This is so vibrant and bright, I think I'm going to put it on my toes next.

The comparison is at the bottom.

Left to right Candy, Tobey and Sweet, no dupes, Candy is way brighter than Tobey and Sweet has that peachy salmon undertone to her. Tobey and Sweet are discontinued.

Left to right Candy, Zelli, Janie and Ali, no dupes, these are the other actual Zoya neons, which are all much deeper in tone, Zelli, Janie and Ali are all discontinued also.

A Zoya A Day - Pamela

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of the gorgeous Pamela.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Z Wide
Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Pamela
Year - 2023
Number - ZP1201
Coats - 1
Finish - Cream Matte
Collection - Enamoured
Colour - Purple Neon
Topcoat - No/Yes

Pamela can described as a darkened imperial purple cream.

Oh boy, Pamela is so gorgeous, in the bottle shot you can see that neon pigment but once its on your nails its the darkest vampiest almost black in some lights purple, this reminds me in many ways of Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI which has a more red/brown undertone, Pamela has a more orchid/pink undertone to her.  Great formula, no running or pooling and I did one coat, Pamela also stamps well.

Pamela dries matte and interestingly when you topcoat it, it brightens up? I am crazy?

Last pic shows Lincoln on the right and Pamela on the left.

Gwen is a really gorgeous pale baby pink, I switched out the brush for the z wide, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Lena is really pretty, its almost a neon, it dries to a matte finish, I switched the brush on this as well, its a jelly formula, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

I broke my left thumb nail and my left middle finger, so they both now have silk wrap and gel patches on.

Jace is gorgeous, a new grass green, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, probably could have gotten away with one if I hadnt dinged my hand, Jace also stamps.

Link is so pretty, very neon in your face, this has a good formula, no running or pooling, I did two coats, Link was supplied with the Z Wide brush, I changed out the caps on this collection to the black ones, I like the white but not on the Zoya Wall. Link does dry matte so I also popped topcoat on to show, if I was wearing this I'd likely do three coats.

Does it stamp - Yes
Name - Mateo
Year - 2021
Number - ZP1096
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Dreamin
Colour - Blue
Topcoat - No

Mateo can best be described as a cool-toned pacific blue cream.

Both of these blues are stunning.

Echo is so bright, I changed out the cap on my polish to the standard black, I didnt like the white caps on the wall, they stuck out like sore thumbs, the formula on these wasnt great the first time I used them, they are a jelly/crelly formula, I then let my collection sit with their caps unscrewed to allow air in for a good few hours, which I think? has helped them a little, the formula is ok, no running or pooling but sheer, I did three coats for my mani. Echo is blue but she has a turquoise/green undertone to her. I also show her with topcoat on.

Mateo is stunning, it gives me Sally Hansen Pacific Blue vibes, I dont own the original Sally Hansen but I do have the Barry M Damson dupe,  and Damson is a more saturated blue, Mateo has a wee bit too much white to be a dupe, my two middle nails in the pics after the stamp test have Barry M Damson on the middle nails. Mateo has a fabulous formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, I could have gotten away with one on my shorties, Mateo also stamps. One thing to note with Mateo, the smell, its got that funky blue smell, you dont smell it on your nails but as you are painting them you can.

A Zoya A Day - Banks and Isadora

Hey Friends

Today on the blog we meet Banks and Isadora, I think I've found a definite new trigger, Chinese food and a large can of Aldi cider is a bad combo for me to have together, slept most of Sunday, was still feeling awful Monday and today head is still sore but I was able to do my nails, its now almost lunch time and I'm feeling more human.

Coats - 2
Finish - Pearl
Collection - Party Girls
Colour - Purple

Isadora by Zoya can be best described as a rich, refined pearl in magenta plum.

Banks is lovely, maybe not what I would call a neon, I did three coats of my middle two fingers and added topcoat, my other nails only had two coats, good formula, no running or pooling just sheer and is a solid three coaters.

Isadora is amazing, this is such an unusual polish, its almost a metallic red with a purple microflake in it, very hard to describe and my pics didnt catch the red at all or the duo chrome, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, would have been one if I hadnt dinged a nail, Isadora also stamps.
