Link is from the EASY NEON collection and can best be described as an electric, kelly green neon.

Jace is gorgeous, a new grass green, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, probably could have gotten away with one if I hadnt dinged my hand, Jace also stamps.

Link is so pretty, very neon in your face, this has a good formula, no running or pooling, I did two coats, Link was supplied with the Z Wide brush, I changed out the caps on this collection to the black ones, I like the white but not on the Zoya Wall. Link does dry matte so I also popped topcoat on to show, if I was wearing this I'd likely do three coats.

Name - Mateo
Year - 2021
Number - ZP1096
Coats - 2
Finish - Cream
Collection - Dreamin
Colour - Blue
Topcoat - No

Mateo can best be described as a cool-toned pacific blue cream.

Both of these blues are stunning.

Echo is so bright, I changed out the cap on my polish to the standard black, I didnt like the white caps on the wall, they stuck out like sore thumbs, the formula on these wasnt great the first time I used them, they are a jelly/crelly formula, I then let my collection sit with their caps unscrewed to allow air in for a good few hours, which I think? has helped them a little, the formula is ok, no running or pooling but sheer, I did three coats for my mani. Echo is blue but she has a turquoise/green undertone to her. I also show her with topcoat on.

Mateo is stunning, it gives me Sally Hansen Pacific Blue vibes, I dont own the original Sally Hansen but I do have the Barry M Damson dupe,  and Damson is a more saturated blue, Mateo has a wee bit too much white to be a dupe, my two middle nails in the pics after the stamp test have Barry M Damson on the middle nails. Mateo has a fabulous formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, I could have gotten away with one on my shorties, Mateo also stamps. One thing to note with Mateo, the smell, its got that funky blue smell, you dont smell it on your nails but as you are painting them you can.

A Zoya A Day - Banks and Isadora

Hey Friends

Today on the blog we meet Banks and Isadora, I think I've found a definite new trigger, Chinese food and a large can of Aldi cider is a bad combo for me to have together, slept most of Sunday, was still feeling awful Monday and today head is still sore but I was able to do my nails, its now almost lunch time and I'm feeling more human.

Isadora by Zoya can be best described as a rich, refined pearl in magenta plum.

Banks is lovely, maybe not what I would call a neon, I did three coats of my middle two fingers and added topcoat, my other nails only had two coats, good formula, no running or pooling just sheer and is a solid three coaters.

Isadora is amazing, this is such an unusual polish, its almost a metallic red with a purple microflake in it, very hard to describe and my pics didnt catch the red at all or the duo chrome, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, would have been one if I hadnt dinged a nail, Isadora also stamps.

Zoya Easy Neons Swatches and Comparisons.

Hey Friends

Today I finally share my swatches of the Easy Neons, I know they're late but better late than never right.

The Easy Neons are a six piece set that came with Z Wide brushes and white caps, I switched out the white caps because they would look very odd on my Zoya wall.

The six are called Oakley, Zelda, Janie, Banks, Echo and Link.

For the swatches I did one coat of Zoya Jack a nude on my index and middle fingers to see if that helped with blurring the visible nail line and I think it has worked as I only did two coats for everything on my index and middle fingers but three on my ring and pinkie fingers.

I only have a few Zoya neons because firstly they dont do neons a lot and second because the Ultra Brites were frankly awful and I only picked up Cana in a destash.

Swatch pics after the comparison part.

First up is

Left to right Oakley and Paz
No dupes, Paz is much deeper in colour than Oakley

Left to right Janie, Zelda, Ali and Cana
No dupes, all different tones of pink and Cana is much more sheer than Ali.

Left to right Banks and Skipper
No dupes, Banks is much deeper in tone than Skipper

Left to right Echo, Oceane and Mateo
No dupes, Echo is much lighter and brighter than Mateo, Oceane is a different finish.

Left to right Link and Tangy
No dupes, Link is way brighter and zingier than Tangy.

Now for the swatches, index and middle finger have one coat of Jack then two coats of a neon, ring and little finger have three coats of neon, no topcoat used.

Left is Zelda and right is Oakley.

Below is Banks who I had a bit of trouble with, I had a bald spot and went back to go over the nail again, and it dragged the polish off as you can see and the polish is still wet in this picture.

Left is Banks and right is Janie.

Left is Link and right is Echo. I definitely think I'll wear a coat of nude to minimise visible nail line.

A Zoya A Day - Anthea and Milla

Hey Friends

Today on the blog we meet Anthea and Milla, goodness me what a couple of days, on Tuesday our oven broke, tripping the power, in doing that it broke my hubs computer that he uses to work from home. It took him all Tuesday night and most of Wednesday morning to fix, which he has done, we've also ordered a new oven.

Name - Milla
Year - 2006
Number - ZP0324
Coats - 2
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Glitterati
Colour - Red
Topcoat - No

Milla by Zoya can be best described as a beautiful bright coral-red shimmer with flecks of iridescent glitter.

Anthea is gorgeous, a sparkling bright red with a pink undertone, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. I just wish the golden flash was more noticeable on the nail.

Milla is so pretty, all those golden flakies and an orange undertone, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

I picked up the Easy Neons and as you can see I switched out the caps, the white are nice but they would stick out horribly on the wall, so I pulled the white caps off and used the black ones, I had switched out certain polishes to the z wide brush to help the formula and kept all the original brushes, so I was able to reuse the caps.

I will hopefully be doing a review on the neons, I'm hoping to work on it over the weekend. I only own Pippa, Paz, Ali and Cana as Zoya neons but I'll still compare them.
