Rue by Zoya can be best described as full-coverage, boudoir blush cream, not sure what a boudoir blush is but I'd call Rue a dusty purple toned nude. This has a perfect formula, opaque in two coats with no running or pooling, I think if you did a thick enough coat you could get this to be a one coater. This is a fan favourite as it looks great on all skin tones. Could Ellie be any cuter :)

Brittany by Zoya can be best described as a rose mauve cream in the exclusive Satin finish, I love the satins, theyre perfect for office wear if you arnt allowed bright and funky. This has a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Agnes from Zoya can best be described as a warm toned muted blush in a full coverage cream formula.  This is so pretty, its got that dusty grey undertone to it, gorgeous formula no running or pooling and opaque in two sweet coats. Apparently I lent my little finger on something.....

Avril by Zoya can be best described as a soft neutral pink with light brown undertones in a milky creme base, this is one of my favs, again almost mannequin hands on me, I did three coats, good formula, no running or pooling, just a little sheer. If you cant wear bold colour in your job then this is perfect, gives a very clean elegant look to the nails.

Sally by Zoya can be best described as a nude flesh-tone warm pink with very subtle pale salmon undertones and soft silvery shimmer. I purchased this from a destash hence she has no label, I did a lot of checking and looking at swatches to confirm it is Sally, the original vendor was sure thats what it was too. I did three coats for this one, good formula, no running or pooling.

Nikki can be best described as a pale mauve purple with a subtle light mint green shimmer. I love this one that mint green shimmer is so pretty and different. I did two sweet coats on this one, you could get away with one coat as well, great formula no running or pooling.

Uma is a discontinued polish from Zoya, this is a warm sandy nude with a pink undertone and golden shimmer.  I did two coats for this one, good formula no running or pooling, we're getting closer to a mannequin hands polish. The shimmer is this is a golden colour, very pretty is a little brush strokey. And yes I mucked these up right after I'd done them, its one of those days.

Leigh by Zoya can best be described as a full-coverage perfect winter nude - rich and warm cream with just a hint of pink to compliment any skintone, this had a great formula, opaque in two coats with no running or pooling. I would say this has a yellow undertone to it rather than pink, its much lighter in tone than Nevaeh from yesterday.

Ana by Zoya can be best described as a light toasted almond cream in the exclusive Satin* finish, this is Zoya's not matte or shiny finish, I really love this finish and I wish they'd do more, I put the Z wide brush in this set, I own all 6 of this collection, although Zoya did a limited edition trio of darker colours for a New York Fashion week. I did three coats of this only because I have ridgy nails and wanted to smooth out those, this was opaque in two coats, great formula no running or pooling. I think if I remember correctly that some of the others from this set do stamp, we'll test that theory out when we get to them.

Its so cold here in the UK that I'm wearing a wool dress, cardigan, tights and leg warmers because its 1989!! The leg warmers are proper dance ones I picked up in London years ago, I'm 5 foot 8 and these are bunched at my ankle. Scroll down for Ellie and Obi pics.

Scarlet by Zoya can be best described as a neutral nude shade with faint peach undertones in a barely-there creme base. A super sheer, fleshy tone that adds a clean glossy look to nails, I did three coats for this one, good formula no running or pooling. This is another very sheer one to be used for French manicures, its like that no nail polish, polish look.

My hubs and I have decided to re-watch in order all of the Star Wars movies, tonight was the turn of The Phantom Menace :)

Gigi is a discontinued polish, it was realised in their spring 2007 collection, its a very pale peachy pink with silver glitter and a pink flash. I did three coats of Gigi, who is not to be confused with GeiGei another pink from the Lovely Collection in 2013. Good formula if a little streaky but no running or pooling.

Parker is a soft yellow toned beige with subtle silver shimmer, you can see the shimmer in the bottle but its a bit shy on the nail, the pics are showing it nicely though it doesnt look that good in real life. I did three coats for this one, its not fully opaque, good formula though no running or pooling. This is another with a really faded label.

We're slowly but surely working our way to more colour.

Skye is a discontinued polish from the Spa Essentials line and is a soft sandy beige, this was opaque in two coats but I had a couple of minor streaks so I did three coats, good formula though, no running or pooling.

The label on mine is very very faded almost to the point of unreadable, I had to do a bit of fiddling in my camera app to get it barely visible. There does appear to be another label underneath but I havent attempted to remove the top one because I suspect that the glue will just rip the top of the under label.

Grace can be best described as a sheer milky baby peach flesh-tone with a touch of neutral pink. Sheer, clean and flattering for French, Nude manicures and solo wear.  This is almost like not wearing nail polish at all.  or that no polish, polished look.  I only did two coats as this one does not get opaque.
