A Zoya A Day - Gloria

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch and review of a discontinued Zoya called Gloria, I purchased her from Nail Polish Direct here in the UK along with 3 others and 2 bottles of the large refills for Anchor basecoat.

Available on the website - No
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - No
Name - Gloria
Year - 2010
Number - ZP0532
Coats - 2
Finish - Glass Fleck
Collection - Fire and Ice
Colour - Red/Brown/Gold
Topcoat - No

Gloria can be described as a rose, mauve-pink and magenta foil particles with gold and subtle red metallic accents.

This is such an interesting colour, to me its a very brown leaning red with tons of golden and red sparkles, it gives me Faye and Daul vibes due to the gold almost over shadowing the red/brown, Gloria had a great formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my swatch. I always hear the song Gloria by Laura Branigan from the movie Flashdance any time I see the name Gloria.

I now own the full Fire and Ice collection this was originally called the Flame collection.

The bathroom renovation has started today and there is a lot of thumping, banging and noise, the cats went to their holiday camp yesterday as to avoid them being scared by strangers and open doors.

Name - Crystal
Year - 2010
Number - ZP0533
Coats - 2
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Fire and Ice
Colour - Blue
Topcoat - No

Crystal is a discontinued polish, I would describe her as an icy blue foil finish polish packed with irregularly shaped gold foil particles.

Available on USA website - No
Available on the UK website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Does it stamp - No
Name - Isti
Year - 2020
Number - ZP1068
Coats - 2
Finish - Pixie Dust
Collection - Intriguing
Colour - Blue
Topcoat - No

Isti seems to be discontinued but can best be described as a wintery steel blue, textured PixieDust with a pop of brilliant royal blue for added vibrancy.

Crystal is so so pretty, an unusual colour combo of blue and gold, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. The collection was original going to be called the Flame collection but they changed it to Fire and Ice.

Isti is stunning, I love the icy base with those bright blue sparkles mixed in, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. I just noticed that the promo picture doesnt have Isti in a pixie dust bottle, no matte cap or pixie dust graphic.

I wore liquid latex as a basecoat for easy removal hence the strange bumps to this manicure.

Valerie is another stunner, again that glass fleck finish, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat, this is from the Fire and Ice collection originally it was the Flames collection but they changed the name before release.

Shiloh by Zoya can be best described as a bright maraschino cherry red with delicate red-toned shimmer.

Both of these are stunning, Sarah is the vampy sister to Carrie Ann from yesterday, gorgeous formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat, she stamps well too.

Shiloh has that orangey brown undertone, maraschino cherry is right, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat, Shiloh doesnt stamp quite as well, she's more a shimmer metallic than a liquid metal if that makes sense.

Name - Lisa
Year - 2010
Number - ZP0534
Coats - 2
Finish - Metallic
Collection - Fire and Ice
Colour - Red
Topcoat - No

Lisa is a discontinued polish from Zoya, I would describe her as a vivid blue toned red metallic with tonal red sparkles, Zoya has reused this name recently but the new Lisa is a red cream, I will be showing her soon.

Aria is an unusual colour, its a pale red with an orange/brown undertone and a hint of pink, good formula, no running or pooling but quite sheer, I did three coats for my photos.

Lisa the original is stunning, this is a perfect holiday red, its a blue toned red with tones of red sparkle particles, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, I really wish they hadnt discontinued this one or reused the name.
