A Zoya A Day - Jett

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my manicure of the silvery Jett.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Name - Jett
Year - 2019
Number - ZP1024
Does it stamp - Not really
Coats - 2
Finish - Pixie Dust
Collection - Twinkling
Colour - Silver/Grey
Topcoat - No

Jett can de described as a frosty silver with a textured finish.

I find it interesting this is listed as a pixie dust on the site, however, it is not in a pixie dust bottle or matte cap, nor is it a *normal* pixie dust, the only texture is the super large shard flakies.

This is such an interesting polish, its a silver base that reminds me of darker Trixie but its got these large shards of silver in it, so it does have a texture to it. My comparison shows Jett, Tilly, Trixie and Troy, not a dupe to be seen, all different finishes and colours.

Jett has a good formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my manicure.  I've had to cute my right ring finger down as I broke it yesterday. I've filled the other nails on that hand down.

A Zoya A Day - Miranda

Hi Friends

Today I'm sharing my swatch manicure of the sparkling Miranda.

Available on the website - Yes
Brush used - Original
Name - Miranda
Year - 2013
Number - ZP0662
Does it stamp - No
Coats - 2
Finish - Pixie Dust
Collection - Summer Pixies
Colour - Pink
Topcoat - No

Miranda can be described as a rose sparkle in the exclusive Zoya PixieDust - textured, matte, sparkle formula.

I really like pixie dusts, if you need something that once dried isnt going to chip easily the pixie dusts are it.  Miranda has a great formula, no running or pooling and I did two coats for my manicure, I am wearing two coats of Linds on my left thumb as I wanted to work out whether Linds was a dupe of Miranda but it turns out my swatch stick of Linds has faded. Check out the bottle and swatch stick comparison at the end.

Miranda is on the left and Linds on the right.

I'm glad they are not dupes of each other, Linds is also way more opaque than Miranda.

A Zoya A Day - Arianna

Hi Friends

Today on the blog I'm sharing my manicure of the interesting Arianna.

Available on the website - No
Brush used - Original
Name - Arianna
Year - 2014
Number - ZP0764
Does it stamp - No
Coats - 3
Finish - Pixie Dust
Collection - Fall Pixies
Colour - Red
Topcoat - No/Yes

Arianna can be described as a blue-toned red wine-textured PixieDust with Mega Hex particles.

Arianna is a gorgeous shade, however, I think this polish had issues in production, its not exactly jam packed with glitters like a normal pixie dust and I have seen posted where one person got a bottle with little to no glitter inside at all. In fact my bottle had no mixing ball and I had to add one as all the glitter had sunk to the bottom of the bottle.

Arianna has a good formula, no running or pooling, just a bit sheer, I did three coats for my manicure and I added topcoat to my left thumb.  As you can see this does not dry down flat like other pixue dusts, the comparison shows no dupes for her although weirdly Miranda and Linds are super close, I'll do a post on Miranda soon.

Juniper is stunning, think dense pine forest deep green, this also has a violet flash that I couldnt get to show up, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one sweet coat.

I decided to do my weekend mani today as Juniper was the last green, I've started with two coats of Against The Tide from Cuticula, have now stamped over it but I'm not thrilled with how that came out, I will show you tomorrow the finished mani though.

Evvie by Zoya can be best described as a dark smoky grey cream with strong teal green undertones. A custom-mixed runway shade created for designer Peter Som.

Elphie is so gorgeous, I love the tone of this green with the brighter green sparkles, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat.

Evvie I love, the grey undertone to this is so different to other greens, a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in one coat, if you notice my ring and little finger have weird texture, its because I now have 3 breaks on the nails on my right hand, so unfortunately I'm going to have to cut my nails down, maybe today or tomoro.

Irene is amazing, I love this one so much, the base is a murky brown toned green and the shimmer is a duo chrome green/yellow, great formula no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. I have this whole collection, they're all gorgeous.
