Kate by Zoya can be best described as a dusty medium mauve with hints of rose and brown. A softer marsala shade for a natural, feminine look on any skin tone.

Not sure the first part of that description is correct, I would call this a terracotta shade, with hints of a red/pink undertone, so marsala works for me too.

A jelly like formula but no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. Dries very shiny.

Colette is a discontinued polish from Zoya, I'd describe her as a mid bronze with golden shimmer.

This is a gorgeous colour, good formula, no running or pooling and its opaque in two coats. This is like Jinx but with more golden shimmer, very pretty :)

Jinx is a discontinued polish from Zoya I would describe it as a molten dark bronze, this is one of my favs, gorgeous formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. This is a great fall colour, if you want something similar that is available I recommend Cinnamon, shes darker and more brown but a similar metallic finish.

Flowie by Zoya can be best described as a light brown creme with peach overtones. A beautiful earth tone for a nude nail look.

This is more brown toned than Natalie yesterday, I'd call this a warm toffee colour. Its also quite jelly like, dries super shiny.

Great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in 2 sweet coats.

Natalie is a discontinued polish from Zoya, I would describe this as an orange undertoned warm brown, this has a jelly like formula but was opaque in two coats. Dried very shiny no topcoat required. 

I really like this its such an odd colour. I wasnt sure if this should go with my oranges or browns but its with my browns.

Penny is a discontinued polish and described as a shiny metallic copper with orange undertones and soft frosty gold shimmer.

This really is the colour of a new penny, there are brush strokes when its wet but those mostly go once its dried.  

This is available on Nail Polish Direct if youre in the UK and its only £4.21 which is a really great price!  

This had a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. Looking at the pics the brush strokes are showing up way worse than in real life.

Not having the best time, I have chronic migraine and was getting botox injections every three months to combat them, my last treatment was in March, I was supposed to get another round in June but that didnt happen because of C19, so now I'm in a lot of pain, I took my abortive meds last night and it hasnt worked. I do have strong painkillers but theres no point in taking them when the abortive hasnt worked.

Jana by Zoya can be best described as a medium nude putty creme with grey, mauve and purple tones.  

This is a lovely purple undertoned deep nude, great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in 2 coats, you could if you were in a hurry get away with one coat of this.

Jana is the last nude, thats one swatch wheel completed as below, next we're on to the brown swatch wheel.

Rainbow Watermarble Nail Art

Happy Saturday, today on the blog I decided to do some rainbow nail art, I was going to watermarble with the PoP Polish Pride 2020 collection but where I live the water is as hard as the road, which means no watermarbleing, I did try with a bottle of water but it wasnt working either.

So I gave up and decided to stamp a watermarble like design instead, I started with my basecoat of choice which is Zoya Anchor then I painted my middle fingers and thumbs with two coats of White On by Sally Hansen, this is the original formula which also stamps.

I then used all eight polishes from the collection and the stamping plate was BM-XL210 by Hello Maniology, on my thumbs I used stamping plate Kitty Collection 06 by Moyou London.  My stamper is the Big Bling by Clear Jelly Stamper and I topped everything off with Barry M Plumpy topcoat.

I'll have another go when I grab a bottle of Evian I think.

I only have one more nude Zoya to share with you and her name is Yana, then we move into the browns.

Eastyn by Zoya can be best described as a subtle grayed grape that is more interesting than mauve and gives a modern alternative that is ever so wearable.

I do rather love Zoyas descriptions, theyre a bit crazy.  This is one of my favs, its another of Zoyas multi undertoned polishes that they do so well, its purple, nude and brown all in different lights.

Its got a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats, plus it also stamps. This is perfect is you need a muted colour for office wear, this whole collection was fantastic and I own all 6 in the set.

I am so happy today, Formula One racing is back and I smashed my weight loss goal, I'm down to 64kgs aka 10 stone, dont worry I'm also tall at 5 foot 8 with broad shoulders. Hubs and I have also signed up for Spotify Duo and I've been diving back into music now that I can listen to it advert free, I have a large music collection but it was only on my computer or ipod but now I can play it on our google home minis and our Cambridge Audio DAC, I also discovered they do music set to certain beats for workouts which is perfect for my speed walking.

Pasha by Zoya can be best described as a soft, pale, taupe-kissed beige nude with silver frost and the barest hint of silver microglitter. Very unique and fashionable- not a boring greige, nude by any means

Pretty good description of Pasha, you can defo see the shimmer.   This is another that does the is it brown or grey or nude thing. This was almost opaque in one coat, no running or pooling and I did 2 coats. The shimmer shows up really nicely on the nail with this one. I really like the tone of this polish, very sophisticated.

Leah by Zoya can be best described as a lavender tinged taupe cream in the exclusive Satin finish.  

I adore this polish, the photos are not showing colour accurate though :(

Leah is one of Zoya's weird multi-undertoned polishes, I dont know how they do it but this looks so different in different lights, it looks nude, purple and grey.  Great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

My swatch looks grey and the stamping looks brown/nude.

Deidra is a discontinued polish from Zoya, its a purple toned nude with strong golden shimmer. This has a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. I was going to put this with my purples but when I did it looked far too nude/brown. This is a really pretty polish and one I wish Zoya would bring back. It reminds me of Faye and Daul both of whom I own and you'll see later.

On the weekend I decided I wanted something bright! Well I think we can say I achieved that, I did two coats of PoP Polish Lemon Zest a creamy pale yellow, I then stamped with Sunlight also from PoP Polish. I used plates BM-XL201 & BM-XL04 both from Hello Maniology, with my Clear Jelly Stamper Big Bling stamper. My topcoat is Barry M Plumpy topcoat as it doesnt smear stamping.

Dont mind the messy paint joy of just Lemon Zest, I knew I was stamping over the top and could do clean up at the end.

Presley by Zoya can be best described as a smokey, mauve taupe cream.

This is a stunner I love the purple undertone on this, opaque in one sweet coat, perfect formula, no running or pooling. Stamps well too.

I think once we get to the browns I might take the weekends off, I'm falling behind on getting to do nail art while wearing all these nudes.

Right now I'm doing a neon yellow mani, which I'll post tomoro for you along side the next nude :)

Jill by Zoya can be best described as a lighter mauve cream nude in the classic 2-coat coverage formula. Well they say 2, I say one coat on my short nails, maybe if my nails were longer I'd need two. Gorgeous formula, no running or pooling.

The other photos are of the lamp I use to paint my nails with and take my photos under, its an LED one my hubs got me for Christmas as I was struggling to see to paint my nails, I'm visually impaired with sight in one eye only.  The lamp has a dimmer switch on it so you can change the brightness. Yes my desk is messy :)
