A Zoya A Day - Laurel

Hi Friends

Today on the blog we have the spring pink Laurel.

Available on the website - No
Brush used - Original
Name - Laurel
Year - 2016
Number - ZP0840
Does it stamp - No
Coats - 2
Finish - Shimmer
Collection - Petals
Colour - Pink
Topcoat - No

Laurel can be described as a warm pastel pink with the slightest hint of sheen to mimic a petal-soft finish.

The colour of Laurel is wonderful, a pink with a peachy/orange undertone, the formula was a little tricky, the polish wanted to run down the stem if I didnt wipe it off enough.

This dries super shiny but I am not sure I see any shimmer. I did two coats for my manicure, my photos are going to look slightly different, the light I normally use broke, I have ordered a new light.

In the comparison between Laurel, Flora and Palmer there are no dupes, Laurel is brighter than Flora, Palmer has a hint of brown.

Stevie is also very pretty, I dont think I'd call her violet though more a pale dusty lavender, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Bijou is a discontinued polish from zoya described as an almost neon watermelon pink shimmer with a coral undertone.

Azalea is gorgeous, a warm pink with lots of little pink, silver and the odd green/blue sparkles, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Bijou is super pretty but sheer, like all the Glitterati polishes, Bijou is the watermelon pink version, lots of little pink and gold sparkles, good formula, no running or pooling, just sheer, I did three coats on my middle nails, this is another I would use as a topper.
