Penny is a discontinued polish and described as a shiny metallic copper with orange undertones and soft frosty gold shimmer.

This really is the colour of a new penny, there are brush strokes when its wet but those mostly go once its dried.

This is available on Nail Polish Direct if youre in the UK and its only £4.21 which is a really great price!

This had a great formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. Looking at the pics the brush strokes are showing up way worse than in real life.

Not having the best time, I have chronic migraine and was getting botox injections every three months to combat them, my last treatment was in March, I was supposed to get another round in June but that didnt happen because of C19, so now I'm in a lot of pain, I took my abortive meds last night and it hasnt worked. I do have strong painkillers but theres no point in taking them when the abortive hasnt worked.

  1. Yup Penny is nice, I'd happily wear her <3 I got the email about the Zoyas fron NPD but just bought OPIs, Kikos and some Nails Inc so might need to pass :-O

Oh man, I used to get brutal migraines too. Nothing helped except from fresh ginger. I used to chop it into a pill size and swallow. I do like ginger anyway! I discovered I was lactose intolerant and once I cut lactose out - the migraine stopped! I get severe headaches from time to time and they are all food related I reckon, over the counter Ibprofen works for them. But not had a migraine in a long long time. I really hope you feel better soon :-)

  2. Thanks, I cut out loads of stuff trying to work out if I had food issues and only citrus fruit and bananas turned out to be triggers. Mine are mostly weather and sleep related.

    1. Wow. I find that so interesting, the effect food has on us. I really probably should study it or something as it interests me greatly! Did you try fresh ginger? Might help or ease it a little. Are you better now?

Not noticed any issues with the weather, apart from the change in pressure really messes with my ears and I feel kinda sick but no headaches or such. Like when a storm is coming, I am quite sensitive to that.
