Zoya Darling Collection for Spring 2021

 Hey Friends

Today I share my swatches and comparisons for the Zoya Darling collection for spring 2021.

This is a six piece collection comprising of
Val, Kayleigh, Ella, Tweedy, Mara and Joyce.

This is going to be a picture heavy post, bring snacks!.

First will be the swatch section, then the comparisons, if you think I missed a polish comparison or you'd like to see something Zoya compared to these, let me know and if I own it I'll share a comparison.

First up are Val and Kayleigh,
Val can best be described as a relaxing mid-tone sky blue cream.
Val is gorgeous, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Kayleigh can best be described as a calming light lilac purple cream.
Kayleigh has a lovely dusty vibe, great formula, almost opaque in one coat, I did two as I had a tiny bit of streaking. All of these dried super shiny.

Next are Mara and Tweedy
Mara can best be described as a soft, muted rose-toned mauve cream.
Mara is an almost mannequin hands polish for me, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats. I'm still debating if Mara should be in the nude section or the pink.

Tweedy can best be described as a bright and uplifting bubble-gum pink cream.
Tweedy has a tiny hint of orange undertone, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Last pair are Joyce and Ella
Joyce can best be described as a juicy hot pink cream.
I do not see pink in Joyce at all, to me its a very bright light red, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

Ella can best be described as a refreshing coral cream with a kiss of pink undertones.
Ella is super pretty, I love when Zoya do these coral polishes, good formula, no running or pooling and opaque in two coats.

These all had a great formula, I dont know if Zoya have tweaked their brush width or the bristles but I felt like these brushes were a tiny bit wider or more flexible than their normal brushes. My standouts are Ella, Mara and Kayleigh.

Now on to the comparison side of the post, the new polish is always first left, these photos have been taken in direct sunlight.

First is Val compared to Kristen, Lake and Blu.
No dupes, you can see the different coloured undertones, Kristen has a grey undertone, Lake has a hint of green and Blu has much more white.

L to R Kayleigh, Heather, Birch and Abby
This is trickier to see, Birch has a grey undertone, Heather has shimmer but that doesnt really show up on the nail, I'd say Kayleigh is maybe one shade deeper than Heather, so unless you're an addict you dont need both if you already own Heather.

L to R Tweedy, Sweet and Shelby
No dupes, Tweedy is the baby of Sweet and Shelby, she has a tiny hint of orange but not as much as Sweet and Shelby is much pinker.

L to R Ella, Wendy, Micky and Emma
No dupes, Ella is deeper in colour than Wendy, Minnie has more pink and Emma is an orange with a hint of pink undertone.

L to R Mara, Addison, Zanna and Arielle
No dupes Mara has a much more brown undertone than Addison and Zanna while Arielle has more purple/pink.

L to R Joyce, Yana, Kylie 2 and Allison
So Joyce who isnt pink to my eye, she is deeper than Yana and Kylie and you can see that very red undertone compared to a pink like Allison.

Lastly a stamping test which I would say only Joyce passed.
